We are powered entirely by passionate volunteers and led by a multi-disciplinary board with extensive experience.
Recognizing that uninsured individuals with disabilities in our Colorado community lacked access to rehabilitation services, a group of rehabilitation professionals joined together in early 2015 with the hope to create a clinic where they could volunteer their time and skills to provide care to these patients.
Despite the clinic opening relatively recently on April 2, 2016, we are proud of the impact we've made in the community so far and look forward to expanding our footprint further.
Since opening we have graduated 13 patients back to the community.
On our first clinic day, we had 28 volunteers arrive to help care for 3 patients.
All funds donated to our clinic goes towards direct or indirect patient care costs. Our board and clinic staff are volunteers.
RSVP Colorado has a strong passion for improving the lives of individuals in the Denver area who are uninsured. Our clinic is dedicated to providing outpatient rehabilitation services to those with Brain Injury, Stroke, Spinal Cord or Amputation injuries. We see patients from adolescence through adulthood.
All services take place in an outpatient setting and include medical care, nursing care, pharmacist evaluation, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, care management, neuropsychological evaluation, and counselling services. All services are provided by appointment only.
When: Clinics are appointment only, typically on the first Sunday of each month (may change due to holidays).
